Chapter 47: Senior Phil (Part 2)

"Take this, kid!" Mark roared, launching a fierce punch towards Gault. A green serpent, formed from his combat aura, coiled around his fist, its gaping maw revealing razor-sharp fangs glinting coldly.

Gault bent slightly at the waist, his feet lightly tapping the ground as he swiftly dodged the attack. He chose not to confront Mark head-on.

Mark''s punch missed its target, instead smashing a hole the size of a washbasin into the cafeteria wall.

When he turned to look again, Gault had vanished.

"Damn it!" Mark exclaimed. Even without seeing, he could guess that Gault had likely moved at high speed to his rear, preparing to deliver a fatal blow.

Mark hastily turned around, throwing a punch without even looking. But his fist met only air. There was no sign of Gault behind him.

"Above you!" shouted the surrounding students.

Mark quickly looked up to see Gault descending from above, a translucent panther formed from combat aura, its claws extended, already within striking distance.

Mark crossed his arms in front of him, bracing to block Gault''s attack.

    Screech.

A piercing sound echoed as the green serpent around Mark''s arms shattered under Gault''s claws, leaving deep, bone-exposing wounds that bled profusely.

"You''re asking for it!" Mark''s eyes turned red with rage. Despite his bulky frame, he twisted his body with surprising agility, delivering a powerful whip kick towards Gault. A green serpent''s tail formed around his leg, adding immense force to the strike.

Gault, unable to dodge mid-air, was sent flying by the kick. Halfway through his flight, the panther aura around him dissipated significantly.

Gault spat out a mouthful of blood but remained composed. As he landed, the panther''s spirit reformed, and with a powerful push off the ground, he shot towards Mark at incredible speed, leaving behind a blur.

Mark, undeterred, reformed his green serpent aura and charged forward. The massive serpent thrashed about, sending tables and chairs flying, reducing them to splinters.

Just as the two were about to collide, a sharp command rang out.

    "Stop!"

But it was too late for either to retract their attacks. The situation was beyond their control.

As the two were about to clash violently, a blazing tiger descended from above, its fiery form crashing down between them.

The tiger''s impact completely overwhelmed both attacks, smashing into the ground with tremendous force. The translucent panther and the green serpent were obliterated in an instant. Both Mark and Gault were sent flying, blood spurting from their mouths.

A massive circular crater formed in the center of the room, the stone floor cracking in all directions.

The sudden turn of events left everyone in shock.

"Ah! It''s Senior Phil!" a student shouted, pointing at a figure in the center of the room.

Everyone turned to look, their voices rising in unison.

Han Ming also glanced over and saw a woman in fiery red attire. She had long, crimson hair, narrow, alluring eyes, and thin red lips that trembled slightly with anger.

"So beautiful..." Han Ming murmured to himself. The woman known as Senior Phil exuded a heroic aura, her figure was unlike anything he had ever seen. Her slender waist and ample bosom were visually striking, complemented by long, shapely legs. Her delicate face was exceptionally pretty. But what left the deepest impression on Han Ming was her earlier display of power.

With a single strike, she had injured two second-tier warriors. Although it was a surprise attack, her strength was undeniably formidable.

"If those two were considered geniuses, then this woman named Phil is undoubtedly a prodigy. The military academy has never lacked talent, but Phil stands out even among the academy''s centuries of history. In her twenties, she''s already a fifth-tier warrior. And she''s a woman. She''s undoubtedly the most prominent figure in the Imperial Military Academy," Li Chengfeng explained to Han Ming, his admiration for Phil evident in his tone.

"Go to the administration office later and pay for the damages! You two are responsible for all the repair costs," Senior Phil scolded the two culprits, her chest heaving with anger.

"Fire-based combat aura, and a fiery temper to match," Han Ming thought, somewhat amused. The woman''s appearance and personality were a perfect match.

"Yes, Senior Phil," Mark and Gault replied meekly, not daring to argue. They obediently left the scene.

    "Everyone, disperse," Phil ordered.

The students began to leave, though many couldn''t help but sneak glances at Phil, some even drooling before quickly wiping it away, afraid she might notice.

"Let''s go," Han Ming said, motioning to Li Chengfeng as they prepared to leave.

    "You! Wait a moment."

Han Ming looked up in surprise to see Senior Phil pointing at him with her slender, delicate finger.

"Me?" Han Ming pointed at himself, unsure.

    "Yes, you!" Phil confirmed.

"Oh, what is it, Senior Phil?" Han Ming asked, puzzled. He didn''t know this powerful, striking woman. Today was the first time he had seen or even heard of the Imperial Academy''s most prominent figure.

Why had she stopped him? What did she want?

Han Ming watched the red-clad Phil warily. The few students who hadn''t left yet also turned their attention to him.

Phil strode towards Han Ming, her long, shapely legs visible through the slit in her fiery red skirt.

Han Ming caught a whiff of her fragrant scent as she approached.

"What''s your name? Do you have a girlfriend, little brother?"

The scene that unfolded left everyone stunned.

Senior Phil extended a finger, gently lifting Han Ming''s chin. Her narrow eyes gazed at him with a lustful gleam, a drop of saliva glistening at the corner of her mouth, as if she were about to drool. She was clearly flirting with him.

Not only Han Ming, but even Li Chengfeng was dumbfounded.

"How old are you? Are you a student at the military academy? Why haven''t I seen you before? You''re quite handsome. I feel a strong urge to protect you. Why don''t you come with me? I''ll treat you well," Phil continued, unfazed by Han Ming''s stunned silence.

If a man''s infatuated expression could be described as "pig-like," how should a woman''s infatuation be described? "Flower-struck"? That didn''t quite fit.

Han Ming''s mind was in turmoil. Especially since this woman''s bold advances were so dazzling, they left him breathless.

"Speak up, you fool!" Li Chengfeng was the first to snap out of it, tugging at Han Ming''s sleeve. He was frustrated by his younger brother''s apparent stupidity. This was a golden opportunity! Not to mention Phil''s family background and her unparalleled strength over the centuries, her stunning beauty alone was enough to captivate any man.

The surrounding students glared at Han Ming with envy. Phil was their goddess. What right did this scrawny pretty boy have to earn her favor?

"Oh, sorry, I''m not into this kind of thing. If there''s nothing else, I''ll be going," Han Ming replied after regaining his composure. Without waiting for Phil''s response, he turned and walked away.

Li Chengfeng was furious. What was wrong with this kid? Why would he make such a foolish joke at a time like this? Was he out of his mind? Glancing at the stunned Phil, he sighed and hurried after Han Ming.

"Good kid! You''ve got guts!" Phil chuckled after a moment of surprise.

"Third brother, are you out of your mind? Why didn''t you accept? Phil has never been in a relationship since she enrolled. You''re the first person she''s ever made a move on. Why didn''t you take the chance?"

Li Chengfeng grabbed Han Ming''s shoulder, stopping him from walking away.

Han Ming shrugged helplessly. "She''s not my type. If you like her, go after her yourself, Second Brother. I need to pack my things. We''re leaving tomorrow."

Watching Han Ming walk away, Li Chengfeng felt a mix of frustration and resignation. He knew love couldn''t be forced, even though he had hoped his younger brother would end up with the academy''s top figure.

What he didn''t know was Han Ming''s inner turmoil. Han Ming was acutely aware that his future didn''t lie within the Monte Empire. His path would take him far beyond.

There was no denying that Phil was an incredibly captivating and exceptional woman. Han Ming wasn''t immune to her charms—he was, after all, a normal man. Having such a stunning beauty confess her feelings to him was both thrilling and flattering. But their statuses were too different. It was a case of right person, wrong time. Moreover, Phil''s sudden confession left him uneasy. He believed it was just a fleeting fancy on her part.

In a few days, she might not even remember what he looked like.

Tomorrow, they would set off on their expedition. His goal was to obtain the core of an extreme cold magical beast. Whether he would return alive was uncertain.
