    "Dad, stop looking at me like that. You got the wrong idea. I did nothing. I just..."


    Sophia, feeling guilty, averted her gaze. She couldn''t face anyone else at the dining table.

    Complicated feelings gripped him. After a pause, he said vaguely, "So, they''re getting closer to each other now?"


    "Yes, that''s right." Sophia snapped her fingers, finally feeling less guilty. With a smile, she added, "Dad, you were young once. You must know it''s not easy for them to get closer to each other. Let''s not wait for them. If everything goes smoothly, you might get a great- grandson soon."


    "Well..."


    Austin was still hesitant. On one hand, he found such a method shameful. On the other hand, he felt that it might be the best way to help Ren and his disappointing grandson be more lovey-dovey.


    When he heard Sophia mention a potential great-grandson, he was moved and his hesitation subsided.
