Chapter 827: Displeasure and Reinforcements

Chapter 827: Displeasure and Reinforcements

The two massive pirs of elemental light, each exceeding a hundred meters in diameter, erupted from the center of the space fortress, serving as a signal for Sein and his group’s breakout toward the main fortress base.

With much of the space fortress buried in the desert, the intense heat from the sts vaporized the surrounding yellow sands.

The main cannon of the space fortress, with destructive power rivaling the full strength of a Rank Four or higher entity, had essentially depleted all the energy crystals that could not be taken away.

Yet, the attack helped Sein and the others tremendously by obliterating nearly half of the Wild Gori forces encircling the fortress.

Seizing the opportunity created by the main cannon and the Wild Gori Army’s dyed response of reinforcements from other directions, the Magus World troops surged forward in a thunderous advance toward the Verdant Spring’s main fortress base.

The force, which had originally consisted of tens of thousands, now swelled to millions with the addition of the Yaja ves.

Though individually weak inbat, these hardworking Yaja creatures were considered rtively high-quality medium and low-level enved creatures.

While they were physically smaller than the minotaurlings of Centaur World, they were far more intelligent.

Among the Yaja, the elite ves who had reached Rank One or higher disyed impressive capabilities, including flight and the ability to wield their steel forks from a distance.

Their blood and skin seemed to be maic—a feature that piqued Sein’s curiosity. Under different circumstances, he might have taken the time to study these peculiar beings.

The two devastating main cannon beams had torn a gaping hole in the Wild Gori Army, creating an advantageous starting point for the breakout.

However, as the breakout continued, thebat limitations of the vast Yaja enved army became increasingly apparent.

Breaking through with twenty thousand elite magic beasts was one thing; doing so with millions of untrained and less effective troops was apletely different challenge.

Though Sein and hispanions had managed to reach the outskirts of the fallen space fortress earlier, that sess did not guarantee a safe return to the Divine Tower of Verdant Spring’s main fortress base.

The Wild Gori Legion gathered in the desert was anything but blind and had no intention of letting the Magus World forces escape unchallenged.

Once again, fierce shes and relentless bloodshed erupted across the sands.

What was once an arid, blistering desert had now grown damp, saturated with fresh blood.

“The wars I waged over decades in the Undead World are nothingpared to the sheer intensity of what I’ve faced sinceing to the Wild Gori World,” Sanchez muttered.

The massive undead skeletal dragon had deliberately shrunk itself to a modest size of about twenty meters in length.

In the chaos of battle, arger form would have made it an easy target.

While unting its size might be eptable in times of peace, maintaining a low profile during such intense warfare was undoubtedly the wiser choice.

Currently, Leena, Sein, Natalya, Reina, and the others were riding on Sanchez’s back.

Below, the battle between the Magus World Army and the Wild Gori forces reignited, this time with countless Yaja ves leading the vanguard.

Individually, a single Yaja ve was no match for a strong Wild Gori.

Yet, their sheer numbers made a difference as two or three of them could work together to take down a single enemy.

Sein and the others remained confident in their chances of breaking through.

Without the direct intervention of any Rank Four or above Gori Gods, thebined forces of hundreds of mages, nearly a thousand Kermoine Serpent Warlocks, and the legions of cannon fodder would be sufficient to carve a path back to the Divine Tower of Verdant Spring’s main base.

However, it was clear that many of the Yaja ves would perish in this battle.

To the seasoned, cold-blooded mages, hardened by countless internar wars, the loss of enved creatures was expected as they were meant to be expended for a greater cause.

It was then that a massive ming hand descended from the sky, its blistering heat scorching the air as it targeted Sein’s group amidst the yellow sands!

“A Rank Four or higher powerhouse!” Sein gasped in shock.

Outside Sandstorm World, a Rank Six Wild Gori God gazed down at the battlefield with a displeased look on its face.

In other nes, the Wild Gori legions had delivered devastating blows to the Magus World Armies stationed there.

Yet, Sandstorm World remained an exception.

Here, both parties had been locked in a grueling, evenly matched stalemate.

The Wild Gori God also noticed a sizable Magus World legion advancing to confront the Wild Gori forces in the desert.

This surprising resistance wasrgely due to the significant Magus World presence in Sandstorm World.

With seven Rank Four powerhouses stationed here—Lorianne, ck Oblivion, Milena, the giant squid, the white-feathered pelican, the two-headed giant wolf, and the centaur god—Sandstorm World had be a formidable stronghold.

Inparison, other nes upied by the Magus World often had only one or two Rank Four powerhouses at most.

Additionally, those nescked the massive numbers of magic beasts and the millions of enved creatures that served as cannon fodder.

Sandstorm World was both the Wild Gori Army’s greatest challenge and the Wild Gori God’s primary target.

ording to analysis from the Gant Federation, Sandstorm World held far greater strategic value than the other nes currently under attack by the Wild Gori Army.

“There is already a Rank Six powerhouse from Magus World who has taken notice of the situation here, and they are rtively close to this area,” Wild Gori God stated.

“I’ll deal with that Rank Six mage myself, but before I return, I expect this low-level ne to be conquered and firmly under our control,” it added, fixing its piercing gaze on its trusted subordinate, a peak Rank Five Gori God whose body crackled with lightning energy.

Upon receiving the order, the peak Rank Five Gori God stood at attention and responded with unwavering determination, “I swear to reim this world for the glory of the Wild Gori n!”

“Hmph!” Wild Gori God snorted before turning toward the starry sky and sped toward Arbitor World.

Its confidence in the peak Rank Five Gori God was well-founded, given its record of personally eliminating formidable Rank Four Magus World powerhouses.

It was unfortunate that the loss of White Banisher Gori God and the copse of Wild Gori World had made capable subordinates increasingly scarce.

    Beyond Arbitor World...

A newly arrived Rank Six Bloodline Warlock hovered in the void, observing the ne below with a blend of curiosity and mild surprise.

The Wild Gori n’s ability to organize such a massive counteroffensive had caught even the most seasoned Magus World powerhouses off guard.

A faint glimmer of schadenfreude flickered in the warlock’s eyes—he had never been on good terms with the Kermoine Serpent Warlock n, whose forces were currently fighting down there.

Hailing from the ck Viperfish Serpent Bloodline Warlock n, another prominent lineage on the West Coast of the Magus World, this Rank Six Warlock was the current head of his family.

The rivalry between the ck Viperfish and Kermoine ns was a longstanding feud within the Giant Serpent Warlock lineage.

Despite this, the Rank Six ck Viperfish Serpent Warlock had every intention of aiding the Magus World Army below.

In the grand scheme of internar war, personal grudges were insignificantpared to the collective interests of the Magus Civilization.

Nearly all of Magus World’s elite understood this principle.
