Samuel was playing with Biyu in the living hall when he saw Santa Claus coming there. He got down from the couch and ran towards him. "Santa," Samuel shouted in happiness and grabbed its one leg as if he was hugging him. The Santa was none other than Xian who was carrying a red-colored bag with him. "Merry Christmas, Sam," Xian said in the getup of Santa Claus. The other family members also went to them.


    "This is the first time Santa came to our house," said Mark and then looked at Sam who was smiling.


    "This is because I found a kid at home so I came here. What this kid wants from Santa?" Xian asked.


    "Will you give me?" Sam asked, looking into Xian''s eyes.


    "Santa gives gifts to everyone. Ask me and I will give you," declared Santa.


    "I want a car," demanded Samuel. Xian put down the bag and started searching for the car set that Mark purchased the last day. He took a big remote control set and handed it to Sam. Samuel''s eyes glistened seeing the car and he thanked Xian.


    "Will you not give a kiss to Santa?" Xian asked.


    Samuel nodded and pecked his cheek. "Santa has other gifts too. Do you want any other thing?" Xian asked.


    "Do you not have to gift other kids?" Sam asked in his innocent voice.


    "I have other bags too. Keep these toys for you. This is a Christmas gift for Samuel. I heard the prayers of your family last night where they told you to give many gifts," said Xian with a broad smile.


    "Really?" Sam asked amusingly.


    "Yes. Santa never lies," said Xian and then put the other toys there. Sam became happy seeing them. He hugged Xian tightly. "I love Santa," Samuel said happily.


    "Let''s go, Sam. Santa has to go to other places too. Come with Uncle Zhan who will tell you how to play with these toys," said Lan Zhan and came forward. Samuel pulled back from Xian and carried the maximum possible toy sets he could carry in his tiny hands. Mark and Lau Lan came forward to help Sam. They then took him to the garden with them.


    "I will also play with Sam," said Biyu excitedly and went to the garden. Yin too followed her.


    "Our home is filled with a new energy after Sam joined our family," stated Mishi. Xian came near her and put his arm on her waist. "Does Mishi want something from Santa?" Xian inquired and touched their foreheads.


    "Someone will see us. Stop it," Mishi said with a smile.


    "I sometimes could not understand my wife. I ask her something and she is saying something," muttered Xian, gazing into her eyes. He then carried Mishi in his arms and took her upstairs towards their bedroom. "Walk fast. What if Sam will come and see us?" Mishi said while looking towards the living room.


    Xian nodded and fastened his steps. They were now in the bedroom when Xian put Mishi gently on the bed. He closed the doors and put off the Santa getup. Mishi on the other hand sat on the bed and saw what Xian was doing. He went to the cupboard and took out something from there. "What is in your hands?" Mishi asked.


    "Close your eyes," Xian said.


    "Why?" Mishi questioned.


    "Just close your eyes," Xian commanded while walking towards her. Mishi did so. Xian sat on the bed, in front of her and took a diamond pendant from the box. He then leaned towards Mishi and put it around her neck. Mishi opened her eyes as Xian''s fingers touched her bare neck.


    "Santa bought a gift for his wife?" Mishi muttered.


    "Why did you open your eyes?" Xian questioned while pinning the pendant. Once he was done, he leaned back and told Mishi to look. Mishi gazed at the pendant. Two letters X and M were there. Diamonds were studded over those letters. "Xian- Mishi," announced Mishi and looked into Xian''s eyes.


    "Is it beautiful?" Xian asked.


    "Indeed. I love it," Mishi said while gazing at it. She then looked at Xian who was smiling at her. "I have also something for my Santa," Mishi said.


    "What?" Xian questioned. Mishi got down from the bed and went to the cupboard. She took out a gift box and came to Xian. Handing the gift to him, she said, "Open it." Xian nodded and started unwrapping the gift from the box. Once it was unwrapped, he opened the box and found a scrapbook there. He took it out and looked into Mishi''s eyes.


    "Open it," said Mishi softly.


    Xian nodded and flipped the pages. There were photos of Mishi and him. A smile carved on his lips as he looked at the picture which he and Mishi took when they went for the first time out to the Great Wall of China. "How?" Xian mumbled.


    "My memories are back and I recalled where I put those pics as they were our first memory together. Even though it started with revenge between us, the love was always there. Those are precious to me. The way you held my hand and pecked my cheek made my heart flutter. Those eyes were truly telling me you started loving me," said Mishi.


    "You gave me the biggest surprise today. When did your memories come back?" Xian questioned.


    "It was when you got into an accident. I was almost hit by the car that day and-"


    "What?" Xian mumbled. He grabbed Mishi''s hands and asked, "Did you get hurt? Why did you not tell me that day?" Xuan was worried.


    "I did not get a hit. So, do not worry. I lied to you as I was preparing for this," said Mishi and looked at the scrapbook then. "It is our memory book," she then said. Xian smiled and flipped more pages. They both smiled seeing the pictures.


    "What is this picture?" Xian asked.


    "This is when I was staying with Yuwan. One day I could not control myself from seeing you so I stalked you and then found you in the cafe. I took a picture of you. Those times were tough," asserted Mishi.


    "Forgive-" Mishi did not let Xian complete those words by placing her palm over his mouth. "It will hurt me so do not say. We both were responsible for our separation," said Mishi. Xian then put her hand down. "But our love brought us together again," proclaimed Xian.


    "Indeed," Mishi stated.


    Xian kept flipping the pages. Seeing their marriage pics Xian said, "The best day of my life. I finally married the woman who completes me."


    "But then something unwanted thing happen," Mishi said.


    "And we overcame that too. Our love is strong. Do you remember I told something to you on the proposal day?" Xian questioned.


    "Hmm. Even if we are light-years away, the light of that star (heart) will bring us together. These words are engraved in my heart and I believe that if you truly love someone you end up with him/her no matter what. Your heart only beats for that person," pronounced Mishi.


    Xian nodded. "I love you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me in this life," declared Xian.


    "I know. I love you too," Mishi said. Xian leaned closer to Mishi. They both parted their lips and met each other. The kiss was gentle with love only. The longings they both felt for each other. They parted each other''s lips and touched their foreheads together. Both were holding each other hands, caressing them. Xian''s one hand reached towards Mishi''s cheek and caressed it. Their eyes were closed and both were sensing their uneven heartbeats.


    After a while, they opened their eyes. Mishi hugged Xian and said, "Sam has come into our life which makes it more beautiful. Now, I realize why the words ''father'' & ''mother'' are the most beautiful words of this world."


    "Yes. He now completes us. I will do every duty of a father towards him but before that-," Xian stopped saying further.


    "What?" Mishi asked.


    Xian leaned towards her and peppered the kisses on his face. Mishi giggled when he did so. "Stop it Xian. It tingles," said Mishi but Xian did not. He put away the scrapbook and then made Mishi laid down on the bed. He planted a kiss on her forehead and then laid beside her. "Ahh, it feels good when you are beside me." Mishi turned to him and laid her head on his firm chest.


    "I can feel that. Even I feel the same," said Mishi. Xian put his hand on her hair. "Let''s make our love stronger by doing the things which we both like," stated Xian. Mishi raised her head to look into Xian''s eyes. She pinched his nose and said, "You always do those things for me to make our love strong. You are the best husband in this world."


    "I know," Xian said. Mishi kissed him lightly on the lips.
