Introduction: In the distant future, the luckiest humans are provided with telepersona uplinks, implants that allow true multi-tasking, memory upgrades, and other advantages over the rest of mankind. Soon, corporations around the solar system require such upgrades in their employees, with the quality and capacity of one’s upgrade determining the highest-level job one may take. In a freak series of accidents, Althea, a timid, mid-level corp drone, receives an Alpha-level corporate implant, complete with combat upgrades and the dangerous CC-null implant state which activates a psychopathic disregard for anyone’s safety but her own.
